Villasimius è una spettacolare località turistica che sorge nella punta sud-orientale della Sardegna su un territorio caratterizzato dalle tipiche lunghe spiagge di sabbia bianca finissima ed i fondali trasparenti color turchese. Nelle aree interne una folta macchia mediterranea ancora intatta ed estesa su colline lentamente digradanti verso il mare.

Circondata da Parchi Naturali che ne salvaguardano da anni le caratteristiche intatte del tipico paesaggio della Sardegna Meridionale. L'area marina protetta di Capo Carbonara protegge tutto lo specchio marino antistante le coste di Villasimius, incluse le Isole dei Cavoli e Serpentara con vincoli severi che ne impediscono l'accesso ai non autorizzati. Alle spalle di questo territorio, nella parte lievemente montuosa, sorge il Parco naturale dei Sette Fratelli con estese foreste e ricchezza di macchia mediterranea dove è ancora possibile incontrare numerosi esemplari di cervo sardo.

Poco distante dal capoluogo Cagliari, i collegamenti stradali permettono di raggiungere Villasimius in circa un'ora di percorrenza. Villasimius is a spectacular tourist location that arises on the south-eastern point of Sardinia. The area is characterized by typically long, very fine, white sand beaches, and by the transparent turquoise waters that recall the Caribbean. Villasimius has kept its appeal of a wild location thanks to the interior areas where an intact, extensive, thick Mediterranean bush softly blends into the sea.

Villasimius is one of the pearls of Sardinia, where the crystalline sea and uncontaminated nature are protected by natural parks that have protected its characteristics for years, maintaining the typical Southern Sardinia landscape. The Capo Carbonara marine reserve protects the entire sea area around the cost of Villasimius, including the beautiful islands of Isola dei Caoli and Serpentara with harsh conditions that prohibit access by unauthorized persons.
